Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET)

BMET is the government body under the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment responsible for regulating overseas employment from Bangladesh.

BMET Registration for Workers

Before going abroad for employment, every worker must be registered with BMET. This registration provides legal protection and ensures you are covered by government schemes.

Required for BMET Registration

• Valid Passport
• Job offer / visa
• Smart NID card
• Trade certificate (if applicable)
• Medical fitness certificate

Worker Protection

BMET-registered workers are covered by the Wage Earners' Welfare Fund and are entitled to various benefits including insurance coverage and legal assistance.
